Environmental organizations come in all sizes, from local initiatives to emerging national movements to established global presence. Many are fueled by passion, volunteers, and a deep sense of urgency.

At a time when environmental progress can no longer be assumed at the federal level, lasting change is increasingly built from the ground up, through local action, state and county partnerships, and strong regional and national networks working together.
